Black & Rossi, LLC recently developed a Concept of Operations (CONOPS) on Enhanced E-Learning. The objective of the
CONOPS was to study and develop a learning program that could improve training capabilities utilizing emerging learning methods and
innovative technology, which Black&Rossi has deemed “Enhanced E-Learning”.
Enhanced E-Learning is a technological approach to learning which combines traditional e-learning criteria with virtual reality (VR)
and augmented reality (AR) to create a two – and three – dimensional learning environment which is interactive for the learner. Leveraging
an Enhanced E-Learning approach increases student and instructor flexibility while also reducing costs associated with traditional
brick and mortar in-person learning.
The purpose of the study was to assess and ascertain the technologies that are recognized as being necessary for a successful Enhanced
E-Learning environment. To effectively conclude this study, it was determined that assumptions made in the CONOPS needed further
validation as well as a review of the variables which can provide the largest beneficial impacts to an Enhanced E-Learning environment.
There were four key assumptions/considerations the CONOPS deemed most important to validate or invalidate through research and review
of existing e-learning solutions. These four considerations also form the pillars of what any organization would need to consider
before implementing their own Enhanced E-Learning program.
The full Concept of Operations covers the following topics:
A. The Four Key Considerations for a Successful Enhanced E-Learning Program
B. The Impact of Policy on Enhanced E-Learning Adoption in Public and Private Organizations
C. Constraints to Enhanced E-Learning
D. Technology Prioritization
E. ...And More!
