NATO SELECTS BLACK & ROSSI AS PART OF JOINT MILITARY-PRIVATE SECTOR TEAM TO DEVELOP AND TEST A MULTI-NATIONAL COALITION LOGISTICS SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING WEAPONS SYSTEM READINESS, INTEROPERABILITY AND MAINTENANCE
THE WOODLANDS, TX – May 6, 2011— Black & Rossi, LLC, a leading military logistics and technology consulting firm, today announced its selection by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO to be part of a team of experts from the U.S. military and private industry tasked with analyzing, developing and testing the implementation of maintenance processes, maintenance tools and international data standards that can improve coalition weapons system readiness, interoperability and maintenance.
Scheduled to last 14 months, the NATO project will be executed in two phases. During the first phase, the team will focus on the analysis and exchange of data that leverages sense & respond logistics tools for improving the readiness and maintenance of battlefield weapons systems. The second phase will test actual maintenance and supply activities focusing on interoperability and integration with NATO’s multi-national forces.
